Definitely worth getting.. Although readers are not going to find a clear, straight-forward answer to every question concerning warfare, I believe Walzer's work does provide, at the very least, a solid foundation for exploring any such question.Some gripes w/ other reviewers:Contrary to what another reviewer maintains, I don't believe Walzer focuses merely on Western conflicts. This is how all the handbooks should be written, straight facts, with real examples. It was in excellent shape. Anyone can enjoy this read if you like some light-hearted comedic moments, but don't expect a tell all memoir. I recommend this book highly. In the section about the Northern Pacific, the one railroad I have some limited knowledge of, the narrative contained such egregious errors that it made me doubt the versacity of the rest of the book. A classic, clear, and concise guide by a master of the art. Together, they get it operational, and Doug learns to drive it. After receiving permission from the neighbors to drive through their fields and planning a route which avoids roads, on which he legally cannot drive since he is only twelve, Doug sets out on a long excursion to a local country store.
