For avid problem solvers, the exercises present a challenging oppurtunity. Anyone interested in this subject will enjoy this book.. Some of the sections about the workings of the Jeep and repairing them were way over my non-mechanical head, but anyone who enjoys tinkering with old vehicles will appreciate the material. I recommend this highly to anyone seriously involved in creating tools for logic and system design.//wiredweird. The best thing about this book are the maps. As another reviewer mentioned, a pretty good book, especially with the reproductions of the USGS maps of the various routes (AT&SF, SP (Sunset & Coast Routes), UP, NP), but there are definite errors in the book that a review by a decent rail historian would've caught.
