While this is set in a well populated urban magical world (or sub-world; basically there's a whole bunch of people who can do varying levels of magic who live amongst non-magical people in NYC), there's very little actual magic performed by the protagonist. I ts almost like having a chat over coffee in his London office.Relax,enjoy and learn something about a fascinating business.. This guys knowledge is incredible and life saving. I'm not sure what reviewer #1 had against this bookseems to me that that review was more of a personal attack on the author. You might want to skip this one..
